It's with the announcement "Pitchers and Catcher's report"
This year it's February 19th with the rest of the spring invitees only a week or so behind.
If you've never gotten a chance to catch a spring training game I would urge you to plan a vacation around this yearly ritual.
It's a great chance to see big baseball stars in small stadiums and without taking out a second mortgage to see a Major League game. The weather in Florida and Arizona is also a nice side benefit.
