Everybody thinks Rex Grossman should be sitting on the bench watching someone else play, but i'm not on that line of thinking. Actually Grossman playing makes the Bears a better team as strange as that may sound. grossman forces his team to play better because of the mistakes he makes. The defense knows he is going to cost them points so they can't afford to give up alot.
In the end maybe having Rex Grossman start is a very good idea and I think coach Smith realizes this to or he would have been benched a long time ago. Grossman isn't the best quarterback in the world but he's servicable and that's all you need if your defense play's great.
