Oh how the times have changed for Texas Tech coach Mike Leach. Two years ago his name was at the top of the list for many coaching positions, now he may soon find himself out of a job altogether.

Leach has been suspended by the university for the upcoming Valero Alamo Bowl for reportably confining a player, that had suffered a concussion, to a dark place "where he could not sit or lean for three hours."


It does not help Leach's situation that the injured player was Adam James, the son of former NFL and SMU running back Craig James.

James now works as a football analyst for ESPN and has many friends in the media who will undoubtably keep this story going for some time.

I would imagine that the embattled Leach, who has never claimed to be completely normal, will be fired after the bowl game and can finally live the secluded life of a pirate that he has long talked about as his true passion.
