List Of 2011 NBA Draft Underclassman
April 8th was the last day for underclassman to remove their name from the upcoming June NBA draft. Unlike the NFL, which has seven rounds, the NBA only has two rounds with sixty total draft picks. There will be a total of thirty-two underclassman to go along with twenty international players eligible for the draft.
So 52 players, along with all the eligible seniors, will be vying for a chance to play in the NBA. The rule that allows Freshman to enter after only one year in college basketball was utilized by six athletes. NCAA rules in football and baseball do not allow Freshman to apply, unless they have been out of high school for three years.
