Kiffin and Orgeron Already Breaking NCAA Rules At USC
Apparently Kiffin and Orgeron could not even make it to L.A. without breaking NCAA recruiting rules. Follow the trail of Orgeron and you can definitely see a pattern.
He was at USC when all of the current problems began, he also has a history of domestic abuse as well as battles with alcohol.(from Wikipedia) This past week, during a dead period for recruiting, Orgeron allegedly made phone calls instructing mid term Tennessee enrollees to not attend the first day of class. There is a pattern here also: after Tulane university suffered the devastation of Katrina, then Ole Miss coach Orgeron, made attempts to get transfers from affected players. Tulane head coach Chris Scelfo was less than pleased with the idea. Scelfo attacked Orgeron after the incident, called those coaches or administrators connected to the Tulane controversy "lower than dirt" and later stated that "there are people in our business who do not belong in our business". The Southeastern Conference investigated the alleged infractions but found that no league or NCAA rules were violated and exonerated Mississippi and Coach Orgeron.
