Jack Kemp 1935-2009

Jack Kemp has died at the age of 73. He was one of my favorite politicians, partly because he was a former NFL star but also because he always seemed to respect those that disagreed with him. You see very view like him in Washington today. It was his choice as the V.P. running mate of Bob Dole that got me interested in becoming active in politics. He will most definitely be missed by all that came in touch with him throughout his life. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Angry Electorate
Being a great athlete, I'll bet he was a big help at the Congressional softball games. He was respected and was a good communicator. That's something the GOP could use more of right now.
