The United States soccer president announced the 18 cities that would host the World Cup should the US win the final bid. Hosting a World Cup is a huge economic boost for host countries, bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars.

The 18 cities:

Atlanta
San Diego
Phoenix
Dallas

Seattle
Denver
Tampa
Indianapolis
Baltimore
Nashville
Kansas City
Houston
Miami
Philadelphia
Los Angeles
Washington D.C.
Boston
New York.
