Chuck Daly 1930-2009

Hall-of-Fame basketball coach Chuck Daly has died at the age of 78 from pancreatic cancer. He turned around a failing franchise in Detroit and coached them to back to back NBA titles in 1989 and 1990. His teams envisioned the hard work ethic of the Detroit population with their tough defense and team first approach. Two years later he would lead the Dream Team to the Olympic gold medal. I second that.. Great coach who caused my Celtics all sorts of problems over the years. Condolences to his family..
