You have to give Tiger Woods alot of credit for winning 7 tournaments in a row. That is something that is very hard in today's Golf world. I know Woods right now is the best in Golf and he shows it every week. This past weekend hiis streak ended with a loss in Match Play. Now people can realize that Byron Nelson was a great golfer too.
Many times we seem to forget how great the players were that came before Tiger Woods. Byron nelson holds the record for winning 11 tournaments in a row. A number that so far has stood the test of time. It looks like it may never be broken. I think it's time we give so credit to golfers like Bryon Nelson, Bobby Jones and others who set a high standard that today's golfers are trying to reach.
