BCS Championship: Texas vs Alabama Open Thread

The biggest game of the season for college football starts in just a couple of hours. Number 1 Alabama vs number 2 Texas. Two of the all time great football programs. I'll keep this post open to update throughout the night.
Pregame show:
Josh Groban will perform the National Anthem. It's amazing how much this 28 year old baritone has accomplished at such a young age.
Four time Tony award winner Audra McDonald will perform "America The Beautiful" for the sold out crowd.
Legendary broadcaster Keith Jackson will flip the coin toss. Jackson is in the Rose Bowl Hall Of Fame having announced 15 prior contests.
The Fighting Redcocks from LeMoore Naval Air Station in California will stun the crowd with a flyover as Wings of Blue, Air Force parachuters from Colorado Springs, will deliver the game ball and coin to Pasadena's mayor Bill Bogaard.
