BCS And College Football

The BCS was released this week and at the top is the Ohio State Buckeyes followed by a team called South Florida and then Boston College and LSU. Now Ohio State doesn't really surprise me much but South Florida and Boston College does. This has been a very strange year in college football as many teams who were number one or even in the top 5 have found it's not a place you want to be.

USC and LSU both teams that many considered the best in college football have found out that they aren't immune to getting beat. LSU took it on the chin this past weekend to Kentucky in 4 overtimes. Looks like parity could be coming to college football and that really doesn't surprise me at all. More people are going to these smaller colleges and thus they are becoming better and giving these bigger schools all kinds of trouble. Look for this trend to continue in the near future.

Check this out...
It's starting to get interesting now that they've played a few games. Who would have figured South Florida???? I watched the WVU-South Florida game and it made a believer out of me! I knew they'd be spoilers in the Big East but, I never expected this.
