At What Price For Fame
February 10th 2007 16:04
Ted Johnson use to patrol the middle of the New England Patriots defense as there middle linebacker and he was label a tough guy. Being tough sometimes it seems has a price. Johnson who now is 34 is out of football and retired and now suffering some of the effects of being a tough guy.
During his playing career he had many concussions which have given him memory loss and constant pain. Johnson came out after worrying about how many others are in the same boat he is. Johnson doesn't know who really is to blame for all the concussions he had. maybe he played when he was hurt it doesn't matter anymore. The damage is done and hopefully him speaking out will change some things.
It's a shame that a guy who gave it his all and just 34 can't remember things and is in pain. It just proves all the money in the world can never buy happiness no matter what your line of work is.
